Doe and spike season - 1 unbranched antler?

Does this count as a spike?

Don't worry I'm not going to shoot him this season. Haven't seen him before today but he needs another year or two.

He actually looks past his prime to me from just that one pic.

It dosen’t count as a spike, but it does have one unbranched antler so would technically be legal to shoot.

It’s not “doe and spike” season anymore. Now it’s “antlerless deer and unbranched antlered deer”.

It counts as an unbranched, not a spike.

That is the widest footprint I've ever seen. It appears to defy gravity!

That's why a second feeder was put in place about 5 years ago. May actually replace it this offseason. After running 2 feeders, I may never go back to 1. Had a clog or something else happen that caused one to not throw but the other did.

If those feeder legs were at the correct angle, you’d need a cherry picker to fill it.

The way I understand it, He is definitely legal.

I would rather not have to explain to a game warden why my deer has a broke antler. Especially if it’s a fresh break. But if it’s an older break, and especially because you have a picture of the deer, I’d say legal.
