Christmas Tamales

We had way too much food for Christmas and only ate 1 Tamale. Had leftover Tamales and rice last night and it was even better leftover. It`s getting harder every year to find good homemade tamales. I vacuum sealed 3 dozen and froze for when it gets cold if it ever does.

Tamales and chili are my family’s traditional Christmas Eve dinner and it wouldn’t be Christmas without them. You’re right, though, it’s getting harder and harder to find them, especially good ones.

Always get a few dozen from a coworker and have a few dozen made from deer

That's a 'Happy Meal' in my book. Had a friend bring 3 doz. by for me and the wife. One daughter-in-law is bringing more this weekend.
I think they are getting on my good side and it's working.

Shot a deer that went straight to the tamale factory. Asked for extra meat and extra pica kick. Then had several other dozens added by other sources made somewhere else. The fridge is stacked and I don’t know whats what anymore, haven’t had a bad one yet
