I floated the idea by my wife of a road trip to Texas for Bownanza, setting-up some pig and axis hunting, plus let her see some sights (Texas Capital, The Alamo). I’m looking at travel options.

If you happen to visit the State Capitol when you're down here, just a few blocks north is the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum. I highly recommend a visit there. It is one of the best "immersive" museums I've ever been to.
