Plenty of YouTube videos, but I think the way I've seen most do it is cook at 350 until an internal temp of 120, and the crank the temp up and cook until an internal of 130-135.

You need to get a thermometer.

Made the mistake of watching this video before going to sleep last night.
Woke up hungry. I will be trying this out for sure.

We do the high heat like you are talking about.
5 minutes per pound at 500°
Turn oven off at the end of the time and wait 2 hours. Never open the door during the cook or 2 hour wait. Meat needs to be at or close to room temp when you start. We always do a boneless one so one with the ribs may be different.

A good thermometer is the key
            130 135 is the range

time really doesn't matter, temp is the key, take it off let it rest for 30 mins, slice and enjoy

We are going to do one for the first time on Christmas Day. We're going to try the method where you cook at 500 deg then turn off and wait 2 hours without opening the door.

Y'all have any good recipes for the sauce?

Picking up a 15lb prime rib on Sunday. I’ve cooked several but none this big. Can’t wait!

I'll be doing ribs, per request, this year for Christmas. We usually do a ham but wanted something different this year.
