Debit/credit card processing

New business I have I need the ability to take debit/credit cards at shows. Squareup seems to be the most advertised/cheapest/most recommended and leaning that direction. No monthly fee, can transfer to bank account/can get debit card linked to account. Anyone have a better alternative?
We have cashapp/venmo/paypal already.

I can have a buyer type their card information in and it charges them 3%. Hoping to have a touchless system like the square and at this moment not wanting the buyer to have to eat the 3%.
Square is 2.6%

If touchless is your primary need you can set your PayPal up with a QR code for your customer to scan. I'm thinking of trying this at my upcoming shows.

My wife uses pay pal and has for 6 years now. They sent her the card reader. She is self employed. It’s been good.

FIS (look up Worldpay)

I have used Square for a long time
Have PayPal also prefer the square never any issues getting paid
