I am not real sure what this is or what you mean but it does not sound very good.

But send the results so we know what you are cooking up.

Ended up pickling 7 jars using the youtube recipe.
Been a wk yesterday. Tried some last night (recipe said wait 2-4 wks).

        Was allsome!

And..... like stated above, the grandkids eat as many straight off the stalk as what goes in the basket.

        Thanks folks.

        D.

Put in a ziploc with some olive oil and sprinkle with Tony's, grill over direct heat. Or wrap in foil with oil, butter and Tony's then just drop it on the coals.

Stew it with some diced tomatoes and onions and sliced sausage. Add a little pickle juice it helps make it not as slimy.

I like to pickle a few jalapeno peppers in each jar of okra. Gives it a little spicy kick.

                    Okra kimchee? Please report back.

I have only made kimchee with cabbage, carrots, and habaneros.

It came out great, I don't have my recipe handy.
I used mason jars and the mason jar airlocks.
                      Ferminted about 10 days.
I used bottled water (no chlorine) and add salt .
The old time way was enough dissolved salt to float an egg, I didn't user that much salt.
Some onion, garlic and a grape leaf (grape leaves are loaded with good yeast).
We ate them pretty quick so I dont know how long they last in the icebox

                        Yes! Grilled is the best!
