The wife tested positive, and she has been feeling down right awful. Can't get up out of bed, real bad temperature, the works.
Being the great husband I am, I decided to make some oatmeal raisin cookies to help her feel better. After I had reached the point of no return and was committed to making them, I discovered we had no flour and the only substitute was some leftover flour from a fish fry we had.
Needless to say, it tastes like a cookie met a hush puppy on prom night. I was really hoping the sugar and butter would cover up the garlic and onion powder.
As for my wife, she suddenly had enough energy to get up out of bed, throw them away and let me know how bad they were, and clearly her taste and smell are back to 100%.
