Sorry to hear, this is probably one of the toughest things to do, we just put ours down a couple of months ago, seems like yesterday. These dogs raised from a pup become part of the family and the dynamics of house the just ain't the same. People say "it was just a dog"...makes me want to just punch them right in the mouth. We will get another one, but trying to make it through to the new year. Focus on the times you had and laugh at the silly things she did. It will help.

I know the pain . We have an 11 year old English mastiff that we will be having to put down soon . She had already had one knee replacement surgery. And know her other one is shot . She has tumors on her . For now she is comfortable and still a happy loving girl . Nothing beats the love from a great dog .
