    Turkey Feather Decoy.

I painted my Dakota jake decoy last year and wasn’t super happy with it.

My taxidermist Mark Blevins, died a few years ago and his wife had contacted me that they still had my bird from 5 years ago in a freezer.

I picked it up but couldn’t figure out what I wanted to do with it since it was mostly ruined, so I decided to do something memorable with it.

So one snowstorm, a hot glue gun and a whole lotta arts and crafts later, here he is. I think he’ll fool a gobbler.

Scary part is I hunt public land so hopefully I don’t get shot [emoji51]. And yes, I watched too many episodes of MeatEater. Click image for larger version

That will be pure magic. My brother did the same thing years ago and not nearly as detailed as the work you did, and that old decoy blows away any others we've ever tried - a genuine gobbler magnet.
