    Ran Into A Beaut Today

    Look at this jewel...
    1991 model
    Clean as a whistle
Just getting some hoses and front end suspension work done. Still sounds like a tractor too. Click image for larger version

Holy cow. That thing is worth 4x what the original purchase price was.

Very nice. Anyone know much on the values of these old dodges? I have the opportunity to buy a 1991 single cab dually but have no idea what it’s worth. It’s very clean and low mileage.

Not trying to be funny or antagonistic; what makes the diesels sound like high compression rattle trap? is it curable sans new engine rebuild. Please no "because they are".

              is it the valves.

Bench seat in the front! How long has it been since you’ve seen one of those? Very nice.

That is a clean truck. That is about the year I started wanting a Dodge/Cummins. It took me another 12 years to pull the trigger and bought a 2003/2500/4x4. Still my daily driver today with 158000 miles.

That is a sweet truck. I would love to have one in the garage.

Diesel engines fire from heat & atomization of fuel. During compression stroke the injector will shoot a mist of fuel causing an explosion to push the piston back down.
With electronics in newer engines, they will utilize multiple staged injections with each stroke to give a smoother, longer duration explosion - which makes for a smoother quieter running engine.

WOW. My dad is still running his '93 to this day. Bought it brand new, about to roll past 400K. My back still hurts from riding in that flip down back seat.
