I looked at them all and ended up buying a 48" cut Ferris fleet series. Basically the differences in brand and price will be determined by what engine, build quality of the spindles, materials like cast aluminum or steel etc. Seats, suspension or not, engine hp and width of cut for your application. Some deck designs are more suited for dry versus wet grass. Do your research try a loaner if your dealer has them.

I was just about to get a bad boy zt elite when I came across a used Kubota for a little less and love it. It has the upgrade to a suspension seat and it’s incredible.

I run a 36” zero turn stand on Ferris 5-6 days a week non stop 90 plus houses on weekly route and it’s very comfortable and lays down a slick cut every time

I do this for a living here is a tip for all of ya new guys

Change the oil in the transmissions about every 275-300 hrs
Make sure the hour meter works trust me or you will Pisssssed when you have to buy new transmissions on a new mower
