As a coach myself, these are the events over a career that matter. It is not the wins and losses. He is a picture of the type of human that we want our players to be. That coach should be applauded as well. He could have very easily said "well since he can't help us under the lights on Friday night, there is not much we can do for him". But he helped to change the course of that young mans future. Kudos to them both! Good stuff!

Besides the obvious, two things stand out to me after 28 years as a coach and an educator. Kids amaze me every day and coaches amaze me every day. What an phenomenal story.
