Central Tx Dove Numbers

Just checking in. I’m headed out this weekend along with everyone else I’m sure. Anyone have a report on bird numbers in Central Tx?

I have a few but not like normal.

Eastern Guadalupe. Did some brush clearing and blind work for my grandkids today. Never saw a dove. Still dry as a bone out here.

Was up at our place in Hamilton county yesterday. Saw more than I had been seeing on previous trips. Still didn’t look real encouraging though.

None in Brown county. I think this will be the worst season in decades. Maybe ever.
