What safe to get for ~1500-2000$

About to upgrade safes to a larger one (at least 35-40 gun or larger) and was curious what everyone has and what's available in that price range. Wanted something with a little bit nicer look and some for fire resistance. The main 2 that I have been looking at are the Browning FMJ and the Liberty 1776.

Liberty. Get one bigger than you think you will need!

The 1776 looks similar to my Liberty Franklin, same fire rating and interior. Only difference I see is that its 12ga steel vs 11ga and doesn't have a gloss finish. Unless you go real high dollar all any of the "safes" are is a big metal box that'll keep out smash and grab thieves. Of the 2 I'd go Liberty just because it's USA made and I've been happy with mine.

wasnt long ago i saw a cannon at tractor supply for 1000$, it was a 64 gun model 75 min fire rating at 1400 degrees, and had locking lugs on all for sides of the door, top bottom and both sides!

If you can wait, most offer BIG discounts around Thanksgiving

I would wait till around fathers day if you can, Tractor supply and a couple other places always have good sales on them around that time.
