If the guns make it across the pond by September, going to give the 28's a break and give this a try

Remmy Wingmaster 870 16g. Only thing I have ever really used, Dad passed it down to me and he got it when he was a kid. Can't begin to imagine how many doves that thing has killed over the years. Occassionally I will use wife's 1100 20g LT.

What flavor gun is coming...surprised ammo is readily available.

A rizzini O/U and SxS. Kinda surprised its available too! Hoping it will be like a 410 that patterns as good as a 28! It will be fun if nothing else. A 725 in a 28 is a dove killing machine! Love 'em.

Defender in Benbrook but you have to shoot a round there and Gibson's will probably get it back instock before season hopefully.

Those Yildiz are some kicking mules! My doesn't like the cheap shells either- needs high brass to eject correctly every time. I only use now to simulate shooting for the Africa big bore guns.

When they weigh around 5 1/2 pounds they will tend to have a little more recoil

Will continue to try and break a TriStar Viper G2 28ga, and use my old 870 12ga as a backup. The 28 seems to be holding up well, though.

That's one of the shotguns I would like to have. I want a Browning A5 in 16 ga. and a 870 Wingmaster in 16 ga. Very rarely do you see a 870 in 16 ga.

I have not hunted dove or quail in many years, don't really have interest in hunting dove. I hope to find time to hunt some quail this year, been saying that for a while. I would either use my 12 ga. 870 or my old 16 ga. Stevens 620a, more likely the Stevens if I can find another barrel to cut down.

I wouldn't be able to take that out shane...I have the ability to dink up my user guns on their first outing so I normally avoid paying any addy for nice wood.

My 682 was about as blah as you could get & this one was the only zoli in the shop to choose from & while not top shelf, it's a pretty rig...I've actually kept this one clean so far.

I'll continue to use my old Remington 3200. I used the 28 gauge barrels last year, but will probably go back to the 20 gauge barrels this year. I'll shoot this gun until it literally falls apart in my hands.

I'll probably start with my first. A H&R Modle 58 Topper .410 single shot for openers. It's always a blast when they are flying good. Then switch to a custom Fox BST with single trigger in full and full. Or maybe the Berreta A400 Extreme just to get some practice in. If I'm having to walk them up, it's the 870 Express Youth and Ladies model 20ga. Or break out one of the others that I haven't shot yet. Or haven't shot in a while. I seldom use anything exclusively, for just dove season.

I do my best to keep my guns clean and in good shape. But I buy them to use. Handling marks just add character.
