Looking to buy a particular gun but it may have damage

I am looking a bidding on a Browning 1885 on Gunbroker but a few pictures have me concerned. Here is a link to the gun.

Review the below pictures and let me know your thoughts on what would cause the scraps on the lever where it would meet the action. Also, the action silver parts don't look right.

    Thanks

If it doesn’t work out, I’ve got one you can inspect before you buy. $1200

    I’m in Frisco.

It looks scratched in places…and it looks like they oiled the heck out of it and didn’t wipe it.

    Edit: it ain’t new.

Amateur gun smith worked it over. I wouldn't buy that gun.

Jake leg gunsmith messed that one up. Unless you want to spend an additional $500 getting it fixed, i'd pass.

Agree. Something not right about this one so I will pass. Thanks all for the responses.
