The claw on the one in velvet is more pronounced but they always look a bit different slick horned. Not a wall hanger, I’m just happy to have a buck hanging around

I don’t think so. Isn’t that a g2, g3, and g4 on the buck in velvet, on both sides? Making him a 10pt? And he also has a small bump almost like the start of a drop tine on both sides on the velvet one.

No sir. Different buck. The velvet buck looks like a ten and the other looks like a nine, the crab claw is different, and velvet buck looks to have drop tine nubs beginning that other buck doesn't have.
