Windfinder is ok but none of them that I have found are what I would call great.

Windfinder is really good, but be aware that a strong northern can blow through between their 3 hour predicted windows and switch back. I deal with this at camp on the coast all the time, gotta be careful with a boat left parked on the South shoreline.

I use the lick the finger technique. Not as accurate as wind finder, but meh.

Windfinder is ok but none of them that I have found are what I would call great.

I've been trying out wind finder and was hoping it would be half good for predicting a few days out. I imagine that's hard to do with something as fickle as the wind.
