Not really a DIY project but I know a lot of guy's have the same problem.
2005 GMC 2500 driver seat change out.
The cuts in the middle was me taking out the velcro for the new seat cover that didn't have it. Left side of seat gone like most GMC/Chevy's.
Attached velcro from old seat to new seat night before with hot glue
Remove front seat(need E-TORX Star Socket Set for this Amazon $13.00 for a set) Also found $4.65 in change.
Remove bottom seat.
Remove old seat cove and take off heated seat mesh
Put heated seat mesh on new seat with 3M 45
Seat cove installed.
Back in truck
Side not I could not fine my same color of leather so I just got close. Color code inside glove box
Whole project about 2 hours
Also watched a few YouTube videos for pointers.
Total
