    Ram 2500 Tire Size?

I'm wanting to put some tires, possibly tires and rims. Was looking at 295/70/18 or 305/70/18. What is the biggest I can run on a 2500 4x4 with stock suspension? Thanks

I just replaced my 315's and went with 35x12.50x17 with no problem. I have a 2" level....

Needing to put new tires on my 2500. What brand tires have you liked on your 2500? Going with either 305 or 315 70 17

Stay away from pro comps! I only got 29,000 miles out of mine. I recently went with the 35's BFG KO2's and love them so far.

I had good success with toyo open country.

Very good success on these trucks with any Toyo Open Country. I've had 37" mts for 30000 now and still have probably 15k left...18k if you really wanted to push it. Lots of others I know have had great success with Toyos too. Yokohama Geolander ATs have a really good reputation as a heavy duty tire on these trucks as well

My '04 sits on 295/70R17's with aftermarket wheels that are wider than stock. When the tires are new, they rub on 1 side with the wheels turned all they way and backing up. Not enough to worry about, but they do rub a little. Suspension is stock and no leveling kit.

I've been told that with stock wheels you can squeeze 35's under a stock suspension 2500 4x4 with stock wheels, but I've never tried. Aftermarket wheels will cause rubbing because they are wider than stock.

Stock I have seen as high as a 315/65R17 but depending on the truck it may rub the control arms

I'm in the same boat needing tires on my 14' 2500. Stock tire is a 275/70/18. If I go with a 295 will the size difference mess with the speedometer or computer?

Just talked to Discount. They told me a 295/70 will impact my speedometer up to 5 mph. Is this right?

Yes, the 285's & 315's I had on before messed with the speedometer...

I know this is older but here are some Cooper STT Pro's 305/70r18 with Raceline Gauge 950B 18x9 +18 on my 2016 3500. It has a 2.5" leveling kit.
