I don’t know about other hunters but I’ve only seen deer within the first hour and last hour of daylight. I came into this thinking I was gonna be hunting at some zoo over run with deer. Not the case.

I have seen pigs, bobcats, and coyotes all hours of the day but deer seem to move much less than I thought they would.

I’m embarrassed to say, I missed a really nice buck this morning at 8:15 in Harris. There was a twig I didn’t see that deflected the arrow down. It could’ve been worse, it could’ve injured him. Perfectly clean arrow though. I’m hoping he walks back through this evening.

It happens. Head up and on a swivel. He could follow a doe right back in your lap this afternoon! Good luck guys!

When checking in this morning I got the following info:
15 deer killed (5 bucks)
70 permitted hunters.
We need a good Sunday fellas.

This is bullsh*t 15deer killed and 5 bucks and we have only seen pics of 2 bucks killed. Come one people post some pics........here is my kill for the day

Hope everyone made it out of the woods safe tonight

Lots of folks think it is a zoo and a parade of trophy bucks to pick from

Truth is it is the hardest hunt I have ever been on and definitely not a parade of deer passing by within sight, let alone within bow range

Don’t feel bad. I hunt a place bordering H and they aren’t even coming to food. Nothing the last 3 days.
