We should all thank Chew for clearing up the cork/ bobber issue and providing clarity to political correctness demanding we use the word “cork” when referencing our fishing float apparatus of choice. Now keeping with strictly scientific research purposes we will move on to the next item for clarification. Fishing Pole or Fishing Rod? What do you call it? And again keeping the same rules as already provided by Chew, if you voted for Biden and call it a stick you obviously have nothing to contribute to this thread. Our goal is to maybe one day refer to our entire fishing arsenal with a “ Sportsman’s Standard” that will be recognized and excepted across the nation. Example of proper way to answer is in post #2
