A while back, Cody Greenwood from Tradlab bounced an idea off me about using my nylon string face material for shelf, and strike plate materials.
I wanted to rebuild my shelf mod anyway, so last night I did this.
It's slicker'n snot on a doorknob. :-)
Got around 100 shots across it this evening. It flattened out some, and is dirty now, but looks like it's going to resist wear very well.
