    Gold Tip

As a practical matter for most deer hunting situations is there an impactful difference between Gold Tip Hunter, the Pro and the XT. At least where I hunt most shots are 30 yards or less. Why Gold Tip, well trying to buy American. Yes I know Easton is made here as well. Thanks for any real world advice.

I always shot XTs and spun test them to determine where I needed to cut to wabble out.
I did this with a dozen hunters as well and they were sufficient for the average hunter but I could tell a different in a few arrows.

I much prefer gold tips insert fact system to others but the inconsistencies led me to black eagle rampages with brass HITs.

I really like my black eagle rampage. The screw in insert is awesome.

Long ago, I bought GT for my bow and then my son started hunting with me. I bought him GT arrows as well and we could interchange nocks & stuff. Been using them ever since. No complaints.

I like my GT. I have XT and Pro XT. Both shoot well.

I will add I think the hunters are all anyone would ever need. Load down the front end and get plenty of spine for your setup.

So if you’re trying to buy American, why are you buying a product made in Mexico?

I’ve always used the XTs and shoot moa groups, so I haven’t seen a need to try the pros. Can’t imagine them being that much better, but idk.

Mainly avoiding to,the extent I can, buying from China. Easton will probably be the selection.
