I went a friend house and he swore that this was some good stuff. While cooking up two Cabritos in his TaĆ¼d he bought from the same place

Why not, it’s just another type of protein! I’ll try any meat once.

Goat ain’t bad, but I’m not sure goats in may-he-co have any better of a diet than US goats. For one a goat will eat dang near anything and we have a lot of trash blowing around the US

But I’m more curious about this taud or ataud contraption.

I don’t Know about that meat, but for $120 I’d take a stab at it, looks like a decent amount of meat for the price

I raise up a goat and lamb every year for the pit. Ain’t never looked like that.
I don’t understand why more people don’t do it. It’s great eating.

OP have you ever been to a Mexican meat market in Mexico? I have many times. You need to take that walk before buying my friend.

Ataud = coffin...you put water / liquid on the bottom & heat up top. Pretty nifty way to cook.

When they work at securing their side of the border, I'll buy products from Mexico. Except that meat. Probly not buying the meat.

yup, looks similar anyway...lots of the ones down here will have top grill to cook other goodies over the coals while the critter inside is percolating.

Does goat taste like lamb? Lamb is the only animal I've eaten that I didn't like.

I've been eating in mexico all my life & would be heading over tonight if it hadn't turned all loco.

Worked there for 15 years & hit the street tacos once or twice a week. All the cabrito restaurants are now on this side due to the violence.

                                Mexico knows it's food...and tequila.
