    Famous Relatives?

    1st off, let me state:

I know who our Chili guy is around here (I bought 10 pks a couple wks ago at Nanza, myself) !
So with that said, I just found out that I have a "semi-famous" relative!

Seems my cousin TJ is quite the Chili Chef, herself!

I mean Terlingua is like World Championship Status, correct?

Anyone ever heard of, or even tried her Chili ?

The real question is does she put beans in her Terlingua chili?

I'm guessing no, because then it wouldn't be chili.

My uncle used to compete in that every year before he died, highest he ever placed was third I believe and his chili was spicy! Big accomplishment there, my uncle actually had his ashes spread in Terlingua at the competition, I don't remember his competition chili having beans....

LOL , I know it ain’t “ real “ chili with beans in it , but that’s rich folks saying that
My PaPa was about as cowboy as you can get , but his “ chili “ might have beans (only pinto beans; never kidney beans) or hominy in it depending on how far it needed to stretch ,

Is this a thread about famous relatives or chili?….or gimmicky restaurants who have chili with beans? Lots of directions for this one.

Agreed - I was going to connect my wife’s family to the Mayflower. But I’ll leave it that she liked beans in her chili.

I had an uncle who was a bootlegger, but I think that’s infamous, not famous.

What if I puree the beans so you don't know they're in there?

My cousin played major league baseball for several teams. He played for the Baltimore Orioles, Oak A's, KC Royals and finished his career back in Baltimore. Storm Davis
