    Boss buck feeders

Anyone use these feeders and if so how do you line them? Been looking for a feeder to put behind the house, and Saw a 600 lb broadcast boss buck at Atwood’s today looks pretty solid but wanting some first hand info if anyone has any. Thanks

I used them for years. I like them
You can easily move them by your self
The varmint cage works very well
I never had an issue with motors and timers
I never had an issue with water or moisture getting inside

We have 2 of the 1200lb feeders and they just work.

I’ve got two of the 1000# protein feeders at my place in OK and a 350# protein feeder behind my house, and my only complaint is squirrels will chew through them.

I have the 600 lb stand and fill. Bought it at Bucees based on a buddy’s recommendation. Here is my take :

I have it in east Texas deep in the woods with tons of water and moisture.

The varment cage allows squirrels no problem to jump in and mess with spinner. Will add smaller wire next trip down.

The lid is rusting not on latch side.

The feeder somehow got water or moisture in it in the middle of summer. I sealed all the corners with flex tape and caulk and so far so good.

The good- It is a solid feeder and motor and timer work well. Get a solar panel if you can.
