New deer lease on Little River in Pushmataha County Oklahoma

I’m picking up a 380 acre deer lease on the little river. Maybe one spot open but we’ll talk about that later. Has anyone hunted along a little river in Oklahoma?

Some giants running around in that area. It should be a great place.

It’s a couple miles east of Cloudy. Has a mile of River frontage

Hunted that area as a kid. Caught lots if fish in that river.....circa 1980. North of Cloudy.

I was thinking there might be a sand bass run on that river. What kind of fish did you catch?

We had a cabin in "The Little River Ranch" north of Cloudy when I was a kid

Wish we still had that place sometimes

I hunted little river but it was closer to Honobia. Depending on where the lease is it could be really good. Locals on our place were hell during the Bigfoot festival. Ripped the welded pipe gates right off the hinges. Granted they were just rock crawlers looking for hills to climb. It still sucked. Check out the push county threads in the game management sub folder. It’s a really good resource.

You’ll soon hate bears more than hogs. It’s sounds cool at first to have bears but that doesn’t take long to decide differently.

Good Deer but hard to hunt IMO.

how'd you find that lease just curious.

Current land owner bought the property last November. I have the first shot to lease it.
