Don’t be around anybody in Oklahoma then. Or Texas for that matter.

I have hunted Texas for over 45 years. Not once in that time have I ever heard someone say they shot at a noise in the brush. You might have a point on the boys from Oklahoma.

Didn’t show age of the shooter, but just amazes me that people don’t confirm a target before firing on it. Sad deal and hope he gets the book thrown at him as no room for this carelessness in the sport.

I was filling up with gas last evening and chatted with a guy out of area with a moose tag coming in to hunt.

The thought it’s 4:30am and I’m going to hunt public land in camo and he could be there shooting a 300 Win Mag today is upsetting.

I told him where a neighbor has one sleeping on her side lawn and where he might find river bottom access.
