Hence the need for Stevens to have not struggeled so much he was relegated to bullpen duty. Apparently they needed a 3rd AND 4th quality starter in the post season.

Does anyone else hate they way the SEC plays this hybrid double/single elimination bracket? I'm fine with the single championship game, but going to single elimination in the semi-finals has always bugged me.

Yeah, it kinda hoses the undefeated team and takes away the advantage and benefit of being undefeated. We’ve gotten bit by this scenario before.

I like what Schloss said….throwing some young guys out there today, to get them some experience. We wann win the tourney, but we don’t need it, we’re Top 8 and hosting.
