Kevin...I am so mad I could chew a 16 penny nail right now.
I have made every Bownanza since I joined in 2011.

I had a RV spot reserved at Lake Georgetown/Jim Hogg with Family members on Feb.25, but it was cancelled due to weather and re-scheduled for April 1 and 2...did I mention how mad I am.

Dang it....I know I will miss a heck of time for sure!!

I've only been to two and I've seen you at both of them Clint!

For years I remember reading about BowNanza and thinking it would be cool, but didn't come for many reasons - during baseball season, etc. This year it's opening weekend of turkey season. Mary and I will just go kill one the next weekend. Plenty of longbeards to go around this year!

Because of A&M football, there are tons of hotels in B/CS too - and the bigger parties are at the hotels after. I am just saying that it's too much fun to keep saying "maybe next year!"

And Mary doesn't even know I posted this thread!

Also, I could be thinking of Gat40 a little bit here. He's always going to come, but then doesn't. Something about a bad knee or something. This year he's got a brand new one. A Lieutenant Dan special knee. He ought to be able to dunk on Lebron now!

Ha! I do now. You must have posted this while I was wrangling with our new terrorist (puppy) last night. Good thread!

Maybe more Bowhunters would show up if we all wore costumes?
