That's a "parrot head" deer. I've never seen one that lived to be that old... most don't make it past a year or two. We killed a few on our lease south of Del Rio many years ago... Biologist identified it as a parrot nose and said it was a birth defect... I'd do a write up and send it with pics to the TPWD biologist in your area... That's an amazing Euro right there!!

Killed a very similar buck (nose/snout structure). Not sure what caused it, my buck was 8+ as well. My guess, maybe age combined with an injury is what does that?
