What a shame. La Bandera is an awesome ranch. I killed a 164” typical 12 point there when they leased the low fence place bordering it, along with some of the best stock pond fixing I’ve ever done. Definitely an experience I’ll never forget. Sat around the campfire several times and had drinks with Bob Hixson. Always seemed like a down to earth guy.

The rumor I heard. The guy that bought it a couple years ago had to borrow 1k dollars from the life savings of his buddy to start a trucking company.

I've been there twice on corporate hunts, once for quail in 2002 and a Bronze level (<140) Whitetail in 2012. It's an AMAZING place.
