    Places to stay in Lubbock

May be driving up to visit my son on parents weekend at Tech...all hotels pretty much booked...anybody own a BnB type little house or cottage close that they rent out?!

    Thanks

If nothing else you might try hotels in either Post, Tx. Plainview, levelland, or maybe slaton. All of those towns are within 40 miles of Lubbock and might have open rooms

Any game weekend, graduation, parents day weekend, or big concert you better book your room 8 months in advance around here. They sell out quick.

whatever you do, do not stay at the ava hotel, or maybe hotel ava. You have been warned.

We just moved out of Lubbock unfortunately. That place gets swarmed on parent's weekend. Best of luck.

Don’t listen to them. Both of my kids are there and love it. I’m an Aggie and I enjoy going up there to visit. Great campus. Guns up to your son.

Try the Holiday Inn Express in Wolforth. If you can get up there early enough, we do a day hunt for dove on Friday afternoon on Parents weekend. We slay them every year.

We have a trailer house in Commanders Palace. When is parents weekend? It’s not fully furnished at this time. Wondering if there’s time for use to add a couple of beds or not. There’s one king bed that’s not made but that’s about it. We’re actually trying to sell it now.
