Another LEO shot today. 21 yr veteran officer killed. RIP

Being right at 70 and spent a vast majority of my younger years as an officer in Jackson, Mississippi I’ve never seen a generation like the world is raising today.
An officer’s death back in the day brought other Brothers from several states for the funeral because it was so rare. Now, it’s almost a weekly event if not more.
I pray every day for each one of you active officers regardless of location.
I make it a habit, if I pass an officer on a traffic stop, I stop at a safe distance and watch till he’s in his car and on his way just in case I can help him go home to his family that night.
Fellow member we have got to help these officers stay alive. It’s actually a war zone out there these days.

Prayers up for his family, community, and co-workers. Sounds like a fellow officer I would have been proud to know.
