Something that kind of made me a bit giddy...
Made the trip to the lease to top off feeders, adjust cameras, check on rifle blind, etc....
As I and my 13 yr old we’re in the feed pen doing feed pen stuff, the owner comes up and started talkin.
One of the Things he said was “ did you notice the alfalfa field that I planted right in front of your camper”
I said “I sure did Mr Jimmy.... it’s kind of tough to miss a field 400 yards long and about 250 yards wide that is that dark, lush, beautiful green out here amongst all that limestone”
He said that had planted it for his Mohair goats of all things and then he told the part that made my heart beat just a bit faster
He said “Kevin, it is your sacred and solemn duty to kill EVERY S.O.B. axis you catch in that field... day, night, night vision, spotlight...I don’t care, just kill em son”
