It's about 2500 miles round trip, and with fuel prolly close to $6/gal by then (FJB)....any improvement is welcome.

Trailer is narrow enough that the mirrors can stay in the "non-pronoun position "

I'd be more worried about the blow over risk , I think that is the tippy part he is referring to maybe.
        Looks great to me.
Keep the load balanced or it will fish tail at higher speed, we had a 5x8 that did anyway if not loaded right. Your 5x10 maybe much more stable though.
Solar sounds like a great idea.

Yes I was thinking high winds. Not sure what winter is like in the mountains there, but I know certain places it can blow pretty good.

The only part that matters .
Looks like you've already added about 25hp

If there are light weight trailer or vehicle restrictions on a highway due to high winds that trailer may take off like a kite. Blow overs are the issue with high crosswinds.

Looks great with the decals. Just load everything low or on the floor for travel.
It will go almost anywhere on the FS roads too I bet.

If someone is elk hunting in conditions that can blow this trailer into the sky "like a kite", they have much larger issues to resolve.... LOL

                            Absolutely love this build OP!!!

Motivates me to refurbish our hunting trailer.

Just a typical Tuesday up in Wyoming. We've seen all sorts of things blown over up there, tractor trailers usually but also seen travel trailers and such and even a FedEx van.
