1st kills of 2022

Nothing special or spectacular.
Watched this possum for couple hours. First under the feeder than @ my hand corn.
Clock struck 12:00 finger struck trigger.
First kill from my tank blind as well

Phone battery was @ 5% and I didn't have my white flash light with me. So I tried using my Sniper Hawg Light to illuminate it.

If anything stands around for 2 hours it's just asking to die. Must have been a rough 2021 for that little butterball. 2022 got a lot rougher. One second he's thinking happy new year, the next second his head is on backwards.

Same spot different result


Had 2 pigs come in about 6:20.
As soon as I turned my red light on one ran NW into the trees.
The other ran towards us, stopped and I lost sight of it for a second. Found it and got a shot off.. had a Double Feed malfunction, kept light on it and my buddy got a shot off. I didn't see which way it ran. We looked for blood and walked the treeline with the thermal. Didn't see anything.
We wasn't dressed well enough for the cold so we called it a night.
