    Not saying it wasn’t/wouldn’t be good, but it sounds like Mexican/texmex food you’d get at a place that doesn’t make Mexican food. Like when a menu has ‘cheese dip’ and not queso.

        The chef was authentic, but I wouldn’t know if that dish is authentic, but was definitely good!

        Was not like any Cajun sauce piquant I’ve eaten, more thicker sauce and a unique flavor. May have been just a one off recipe of an experimental chef, but would have been a keeper in my book.
