I never know whether it’s gonna be dialed-in me or my incompetent, distracted and non-focused twin that shows up for a practice session. When it’s him I hang the bow up for the day. Don’t want to reinforce bad habits or lose confidence
Something in the air today I guess. First time shooting at a target with multiple spot (4 spots) in several months. I could focus on one spot and shot like crap. Ripped the target face off and grouped good. Last shot of the evening, I flung one at 40 yds, nailed it.
Called it a day after that…
Yes Sir. Learned to put it away for tomorrow is another day.
And, if by chance I've having a great day, I don't shoot too long, hate to lose that feeling.
Sure do, and I’ll just keep walking closer to my target until I can stack a few. Then off to something else for that day. But I like to throw a few strikes even at close range before I end my shooting for the day. Seems to work for me, and then I don’t have a bad shooting vibe bugging me.
