    Got my Chap buck back

For those of you who followed along last year on the Chap gun deer live hunt, just got him back. Happy with the work from B&B Taxi in NW Houston. Definitely a deer of a lifetime even though I almost messed it up. [emoji4]

I have seen numerous south Texas bucks, with very wide racks, that don't curve much at the ends. Most of those racks are 22" to 24", seen at least one, that was 26". All of them had nothing but short tines. Most are only maybe 8", more like 6" is more typical. The longest ones will be closest to the brow tines, get shorter as they go out towards the end of the main beams. Never seen one with a mixed length of tines like that. Interesting deer.
