So I know Amsteel is considered a "no no" for tethers because it doesn't like friction. Yet I use it in a cam cleat for my sticks and its been used for saddle bridges for a while.
Since I've started hybrid hunting out of my .5, I've pulled my dump pouches off the saddle because it makes noise if I rotate in the seat.
I'm really wanting a rope I can just throw in my pocket rather than having a dedicated dump pouch for a rope with a mechanical ascender.
