Ozonics converted to run on 20v DeWalt battery

Soooo, I seemed to have lost my Ozonics charger the off season, after pricing the charger ( just under $100), I decided to see what it would take to run it off of a DeWalt 20v battery. Hate having multiple chargers and batteries. Found this niffty adapted with a 20v X 12v transformer, seems to work good so far. There is another device I will add later to keep from running the battery all the way down to zero. Will let yall know what kind of run time we get between charges.

How did you connect the transformer to the battery terminals. Solder it?

For anyone interested you can buy 6ah dewalt knockoffs on amazon for $30 a piece. I use them for my tools and for my garmin livescope and they work great.

Cut the existing wire off of the battery terminals, soldered and heat shrink the wires together automotive style.
