Made a quick turnaround trip to my lease in west Texas to make sure feeders were good and throwing and everything was in order for this following week. I brought my two little boys with me (5 and 7) to see if maybe while there they could sling some lead. My 5 year old got his first deer, a doe at 252 yards the first evening and my 7 year old got a doe the next morning at 150 yards. Then it was back on the road headed home. Hunting with my boys has become one of my favorite things to do and love watching them grow and become more involved!
