    "Crappie cakes"

Made Crappie Cakes instead of crab cakes.
Took crappie fillets put a little mayo on, salt and pepper, added a little Ragin Blaze and baked at 325 for about 15-17min until fish flakes apart. Took a stick of butter added the trinity except i used chopped Jalapeno instead of bell pepper. Sauted in butter annd some chopped green onion garlic tyme, basil, couple of table spoons of creole mustard, then a couple of eggs, then mixed in the flaked fish. Added 2/3 cup of flour and mixed. Then Panko bread crumbs to the mixture to bind it together. Form into patties and deep fry in oil at 350 3-5 min. They were great and easy to make. Enjoy

Dang! I’ll have to give this a go. Maybe smoke some redfish on the 1/2 shell and make into patties.
