    Home sauna

Stopped going to the gym (sauna closed there anyway). So I ended up finding this little gem on Amazon and so far so good. It does the job for now but this little pop up isn't going to last long. The steam generator is great.

Has anyone built one for their home? I have a really big master bathroom and may consider taking out the jacuzzi style tub which we rarely use and maybe add one.

Or maybe modify my stand up shower?

I've been doing my 1hr workout then sitting in the sauna for about 30 mins. Feels great and I wish I would have thought about it earlier.

I'm going to see if I can mod my shower somehow to get steam in there.

They make sauna heaters that you can get for relatively cheap. I don't know how waterproof they are or portable, but I bet you could figure it out if you get creative!

Please explain the benefits besides sweating out alcohol from the night before?

Always laugh at the overweight people who go to gym and 80% of their time is spent in the sauna

I'm 5,3 and 135 so not overweight or obese.

Recovery and reduced soreness after workout is my main benefit though.

I do drink but not that dang much lmao.

We had one put into our shower when the bathroom was remodeled. Works great. You can also use essential oils on the steamer to add aromatherapy...

This looks great- is it a steam sauna?

                          No steam option

                          Just a infrared heat.

                          Gets 140-141

Takes only 20 min to get to that temp.

I usually try my best to sit for 25 min post workout but it usually runs me out of there.
