2022 Conroe Bulkhead Smash!

They are definitely starting to thicken up on the bulkheads! We fished this morning for 4 hrs and had over 30. No under size fish either. We did catch a few shad this morning but there still a week or two away from being thick. We caught most everything on shrimp, carolina rigging up on the bulkheads. Pretty decent run for a 4 hr trip

It was calmer than normal for Conroe this morning. When we loaded up at 11am this morning it was getting choppy but still not bad for Conroe.

It's about to fire off real good! We are about 2 weeks behind normal for Conroe this year. I was reading 58 surface temp at 6am this morning and with the highs in low 80's all week next weekend should be on fire🔥

It's about to fire off real good! We are about 2 weeks behind normal for Conroe this year. I was reading 58 surface temp at 6am this morning and with the highs in low 80's all week next weekend should be on fire[emoji91]

I have a neighborhood bass tournament Saturday, but if weather holds I will go Sunday.


I’m certain I’m fishing the 7th and 8th weather permitting. Maybe 9th and 10th too.
