    DIY Bridge building

Rednecks are at it again. Got a couple drainage courses that we can't cross and can't keep culverts in when it comes a frog strangler. Time for some really long cattle guards.

No engineers were consulted or engaged in any way.

Whatever you have the ability to do yourself, is worth doing it well. Looks like you are well on your way to redneck engineering school. I like it.

Appreciate it. Piers go in tomorrow. Right now we're debating if somebody should sketch this thing up or just wing it.

The beams came from an old production plant so you're close.

                    Following. I have (2) 40' I-beams that I want to make a atv/utv bridge out of.

I like it! There is no project so small that an engineer can't screw it up.

If you get it engineered I promise you don't have near enough material on the that trailer to build it!

Quick update. Tractor took a dump on us. Digging the holes by hand is an option, but lifting these ibeams is not. Lots of head scratching, some contemplating, and a little finger pointing going on.
