Anyone fishing the Cabela's big bass this weekend on Conroe? My son and his buddy will be fishing it. They usually cash a check or two.

Room booked at Fork for March 4,5,6. should be on fire after a 5 day warming trend.

Blew the cobwebs out last weekend on Houston country.

Warmest water I found the Saturday before the ice was in little Caney, it was 58 in there in the afternoon. There was a pro on every stump, channel swing and dock so I didn't get much fishing done.

It was 48 up around Coffey and Glade. I'm sure that has changed a lot with the weather this week.

I used both the 154 public ramp and hideaway harbor and both were good to go.

Yea, 6ft is what's being reported now. I watch a few videos on YouTube and that was enough for me to see that I need to take it easy and stay on my toes. I plan on hitting a stump or two; at idle speed of course.
