Default TBH weight loss challenge 2021

Anyone want to run one this year? I am willing to run it again, however if I do I want to cap it at 20-25 people. It got too big last year with 50+ people. That being said if we limit the people I feel like we should up the buy in to $50-100 so that it is worth while for someone to win again like last year. If someone else wants to run it and allow 50+ people again i am 100% ok witg that, i just donít want to run one that big again. All i know is I weight the exact same as when we started the one last year so I definitely need to make some changes and lose some weight.

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? What can we do to keep what happened last year from happening with people not doing the monthly weigh ins?

I'm at 265 and started off the challenge at 309. I ended the Challenge in July at 263. I still have more to lose, but I feel waaaay better than I did this time last year.

Good luck to anyone who does this challenge. I myself need to lose 30lbs in a bad way. I am about 5ft 8 234 as of yesterday. I would love to be under 200. I have said for years I would do it, but my willpower so far has sucked. I hope to have the motivation this year. I actually have been really watching what I eat for a couple weeks and going to try to walk 5 miles a day after work as much as possible.

I'm in. I office in the kitchen now and I've gained about 40lbs in the last 9 months. If I lost a 100 it wouldn't hurt me a bit.

Good luck! I don't know why I remember this but I recall you losing a ton of weight and your A1C went down big time. Well, at least I think that was you. . I remember the A1C decrease was great/shocking!

I used to run 4 days per week & got to 169 lbs at 5-10/5-11. I stopped after developing bursitis on one of my knees
Now I’m at 196
I need to get back to doing something cardio related & eating better

No itís based off percentage of weight loss based on your original weight. Like they do on biggest loser and those shows.

Ok guys before I open this up to sign ups what do you guys want the entry to be? Iím good with either $50 or $100.

Also I am capping this thing this year. Last year we had 51 I think and it was just a pain in the butt to keep up with the spread sheet with that many people.

I will be honest I would rather do $100 entry and under 20 people. That way everyone who is in the contest has a little more invested and follows through. At $20 last year a lot of people including myself just did a week or two then kinda petered out because it was only $20.

Give me yíallís thoughts

The one last year we did 6 months. I would rather have it run 3months. I feel the long time frame was another reason that a lot of people dropped out by the end. I donít remember what won last year I would have to go back and look at the thread.

Understand its a PITA to run for 6 months. How about go 12 and see who really wants to make a lifestyle change. Your participants will drop consistently after about month 3 and there will only be a few in the end.

I may be able to get in on this. I believe I quit after 2 or 3 months. Had a new born at the time and it made it hard to cook healthy foods and exercise. The lack of sleep was intense. This year may be different. Not 100% committed but following.

I'm 5'11" and about 205 right now. I need to be at 185lbs and intend on getting there after Christmas. I don't think the amount of weight I need to lose could win any weight loss challenge though so I will just follow along and wish y'all well.

I might be in on this. Almost did last year which I would have but was going to be having foot surgery in February and not able to exercise. Anyways had to loose weight just for the surgery and get my a1c in check just to have the surgery. Started last December weighed 360ish now 288. Been on the carnivore diet and has been life changing. Facing another surgery in March on the other foot. Thinking I would like to join in this group.
